The year was 2008, Ciel had managed to wake up on the grass of an unfamiliar place to him. It was like no one could see him or bothered to even wake the poor child up. He called out for Sebastian but he never came which irated him to the point that he started to get the attention of other people only to be ignored until he saw a young brunette female staring at him. "Why the bloody hell are you staring at me for?"
"No one can hear you, you are unseen by those around. Follow me if you want to be seen and heard." Was all the female said before she walked off
Ciel had no idea what trickery the female was going off about. But he had no other choice in the matter, she was the only one who had even spoken a single word to him. So he chose to follow after her, as he caught up to her he matched her pace. "What's your name miss?"
"Serena. That's all you need to know. Now less talking more walking." She said as she turned the corner
Ciel was annoyed that she wasn't even going to be plesant with him, he followed her to a large white house. She took her shoes off outside of the house and looked at him. "Do the same or you'll be yelled at."
"I don't know how to take them off on my own."
She let out a sigh and bent down to undo his boots for him before he stepped out of them. The two of them went inside of the house after Serena had given him a pair of slippers that went around his entire foot to wear. Serena then took him up a case of stairs before she knocked on the door before she placed her hands together in front of her. "Enter Serena."
Serena opened the door and motioned for Ciel to go in first which he did before she went in after him and shut the door. "This is who Justina had made be here without a proper counter spell." Serena stated. "He is from a fictional work of art that her and I are both into. He is thirteen years of age. He is supposed to have a demon butler but due to the spell that had backfired his butler had not come with him. I have also seen that no one else other than those in this house are able to see him and speak to him."
Ciel saw that Serena was talking to an elder male who was looking at him up and down before he looked at Serena once more. "What else do you know about the male?"
Serena raised an eyebrow at the male. "Does it matter? You said you'd take him back."
Hearing what Serena said his eyes lit up. "Can I go back to where I was? This is just too much for me."
The male waved him off before he patted the top of Serena's head. "I have to wait to see if I can on the next full moon next month. For now he'll be stuck here. I need to know what I can about him, anything you can give me will be welcomed."
Serena placed her hands behind her back before she cleared her throat. "His name is Ciel Phantomhive, his birthday is December fourteenth, he is a sweet addict and his family was known as one of the right hand families to the queen at the time in England. He has a betrothed who is his cousin by the name of Elizabeth who he calls 'lizzy'. He is rather smart for a male his age and he has no immediate family due to his parents being killed in the manor he lived in and his twin brother being slaughtered before him. He also has a demonic seal mark upon his right eye and a seal mark of the company that was going to sell him off on his back on the right side. He also wears the earing he does due to the fact that he had a price tag upon his ear that made a whole in his ear. "
Ciel looked rather stunned to hear just how much Serena knew about his life. The elder male rubbed between his eyes. "Serena, your room is the only room that he can be in due to the fact that Emily chose to walk out of our family. I would have him be in the room with Tyler and Mitchel but they aren't going to be able to understand him."
Serena nodded her head understanding what she must do. "Very well Father, I will do what I must. Will you be punishing Justina for what she has done?"
"I will, I will also need you to give me the measurements for him so we can figure out what size he wears so he can look somewhat normal while he's here."
"Yes father I understand. I will show him where my room is and go from there. You will find Justina in the living room, she is currently playing a game with Tyler and Mitchel."
"That will stop very soon, go on you are dismissed Serena."
Serena nodded her head and looked to Ciel. "Let's go, there is much you need to know and very little time to tell you in."
He followed after her as she left the room, she went downstairs once more and past the kitchen to a room off of it that was separated by a mere slab of wood. Serena shut the door after Ciel had came into the room before she sat on her bed. she then motioned to the bed across from hers. "That will be yours to sleep upon for the month. I apologize for how I've been acting but I'm dead afraid of my father."
Ciel sat on the bed and looked at her curiously. "Why are you afraid of your father?"
"He made my eldest sister Emily run off after they had a large arugement about the fact that she liked a guy that he didn't approve of. Instead of agreeing to disagree they had a full out fight in front of me and it ended with Emily taking all of her things and running off." Serena said sadly "The next day my father told my other siblings and I that if we ever argued with him or did anything he didn't like that we'd be out of the house like Emily."
Ciel looked at her curiously. "Do you think your sister Justina will be kicked out of the house like Emily was?"
"Yes, we were told not to do time magic and pull people out of their times. You are proof that she had done the spell that she had done. She had tried to pin it on me so she could have this room-but my father locks this room at night so I don't end up sleep walk outside. So he knew she was lying and knew he could trust me to find you and take you here."
"I have to ask, what time and place is this?"
Serena took a deep breath. "You're going to be a bit dazed by that answer."
"I obviously know it's in the future of what I know. So I'm not going to be that surprised woman."
She gave him a weak smile. "It is April 30th of 2008."
He was silent for a moment before he took his eyepatch off of his right eye. "My mark...it's dull isn't it?"
She nodded her head quietly, he let out a sad sigh before he shut his eyes. "This is a mess, your sister is a moron."'
"Adopted sister..." Serena corrected him
"You or her?"
"Me...I was adopted into the family."
"You obviously know a lot about me, may I know about you since I will be here for a month?"
Serena nodded her head before she sat back on her bed. "My name is Serena Bates, I am thirteen years old. I'll be turning fourteen in three days. I have three adoptive elder brothers, and two elder adoptive sisters. Out of all of the kids here I am the youngest...um...hm...I think that's all I can think of to tell you."
"Who are those you are family to now?"
"oh! I guess I can tell you their names. The eldest is Nile he's twenty four-he's in the military so you won't see him. Then it's Mitchel who is twenty two and works at some place nearby. Then its Emily who is eighteen. After Emily its Tyler and Justina who are twins that are sixteen."
"You said you had a father-what about a mother?" Ciel asked
Serena frowned. "She's gone...She died four years ago."
"Oh...I apologize. I had no idea."
Serena shook her head. "You have it worse, you lost everything in one night not to mention you were hurt severely just because someone was out for your family." She said sadly
"A-Are you sympathetic towards me Serena?"
